About the District

The Hills of Minneola CDD encompasses an area of approximately 885.15 acres within the boundaries of the City of Minneola, Florida (Lake County). The land within the District is generally located east of Florida’s Turnpike, south of Sugarloaf Mountain Road and north of Thoroughbred Lane.

The Hills of Minneola CDD is also authorized to exercise special powers to finance, fund, plan, establish, acquire, construct or reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain systems, facilities, and basic infrastructures, as well as plan, establish, acquire, construct or reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain additional systems and facilities for Parks and facilities for indoor and outdoor recreational, cultural, and educational uses.
